Chapter 9: Amazing Acting Skills My Ass!

Later on that day Leonardo and Olivia both met up with Usher in their acting class.  It was obvious Leonardo and Usher didn't like each other.  Leonardo didn't want Usher and Olivia together and made his opinion obvious every time he can around Usher.  Usher knew that Leonardo was falling for Olivia and he didn't like it at all.

"Hey honey."  Olivia kissed Usher on the cheek and hugged him.  She loved Usher, but lately she's been questioning it.

"Hey." Usher gave her a passionate kiss to annoy Leonardo.

Leonardo started clapping, "Bravo, you deserve an Oscar for that performance."

Usher rolled his eyes at Leonardo, put his arm around Olivia and walked into their class.  As soon as they got in, Usher saw Jennifer talking to their professor.  Immediately Usher put his arm off of Olivia and wanted to hide.  What was she doing here? Usher thought to himself.

Leonardo, Olivia and Usher started heading to some seats in the middle row when Jennifer saw Usher and walked up to him. "Hi Usher.  I'm so glad we have another class together.  I'ma sit right next to you."

Olivia gave Usher a puzzled look. "Uhm Jen, this is my girlfriend Olivia.  Olivia this is Jen.  We have Psych together, and she's on the cheerleading team."   Usher wanted to make it obvious to Olivia that he wasn't hiding anything.  He didn't know how things could get worse.

"Hi."  Olivia extended her hand to shake "Jen"'s hand.

Jennifer flipped her long, gorgeous hair over her should and extended her hand with a fake smile "Hi.  But Usher, I'm the HEAD cheerleader.  Remember that."  She said while starring down at Olivia, trying to intimidate her.

Olivia didn't flinch.  With a smile Olivia said, "Wow, head cheerleader.  That's cool.  I bet you get a lot of guys throwing themselves at you, and you never act desperate and stalk guys."  Leonardo and Usher laughed under their breaths.  Olivia may look like she can't handle herself, but she proved she could hold her own.  Before Jennifer could come up with a combat, the professor began talking.

"Good morning class, today we're going to do a warm up.  I'm going to ask two people come up on stage and asked them to improve a scenario."  Then the teacher pointed to Olivia and Leonardo.  They both looked at each other and walk to the center of the stage in front of the whole class.  "Alright, now tell the class your name."  Then both Olivia and Leonardo told the class their names.  "Alright, now I want you, Olivia, to be the shy country girl during mid-evil times.  And Leonardo you're the prince trying to make Olivia your bride, but she doesn't believe you're serious.  And action."

Olivia looked a bit confused, but Leonardo took the lead, "My fair maiden, my heart longs for thee hand in marriage.  Why must you refuse thy prince, and not be thine queen?"

Olivia began to play along, "I refuse thy name because I saw Britney in thy quarters when the moon was last full.  Why should I believeth thou?"

"Because my heart aches for they lips upon mine.  My soul longs for they gentle touch.  My mind runneth away with thoughts of you.  My fair lady, you may liveth in the country, but thy art royalty in thine eyes," then Leonardo got on his knee and look deep into Olivia's eyes, "and I truly don't derserveth thou."  The was a long pause and Olivia couldn't help but to look into Leonardo's piercing blue and wonder if what he's saying true, or was his acting skills way beyond beginners class.

The teacher coughed. "Are you going to continue Olivia?"

She broke away from Leonardo's intense gaze and then said ,"My hand is already taken for someone's marriage, I simply cannot be thy princess, Prince.  You may have any maiden's hand, yet you want thine hand.  Why not someone's else's"

Leonardo grabbed Olivia's hand and she felt chills up and down her spine.  "Because, my love, thy soul crieth out for thee, thy heart," Leonardo put his hand on her heart, "beats the same as thy heart," and then he took Olivia's other hand and put it to his heart.  "in my heart I knowth we were meant to be."

"And scene."  The teacher stood up and started clapping.  "I see we have a couple."

"Uhm, no we're just friends, my boyfriend is over there."  And Olivia pointed to Usher, who was obviously upset.

"Then you two have amazing acting skills!  Seems like I see my A students already."  The teacher gleed, and then called on two other students.

Usher mumbled under his breath, "Amazing acting skills my ass."  Then Jennifer saw how pissed Usher was and decided to make things worse before Olivia and Leonardo came back to their seats.  "Hmmm, it seems like they are really close.  Almost like they're a couple.  If I didn't know any better, I would think they were dating, not you two.  But that's just me."  With that, she smiled in her seat.  This is going to be easier than I thought, Jennifer thought to herself.

Chapter 8: The Beginning of August

Olivia was excited to start school.  She's already got an acting class with Usher, a creative writing class, an English and Calculus class.  She decide that this year she was going to take it easy and not do too much.  Especially since she needs time to see her boyfriend on the football field.  The past month and a half Usher truly was on his best behavior and making up for all the hurt he's done.  He's taken her out on dates almost every day after practice.  Once a week he bought her her favorite flowers so she could have fresh ones in her dorm.  Also once a week they've taken long walks in the park talking about their day and week.  Lately it's been a dream being with Usher, it's like when they first started date and this time better because they're older and wiser.  Plus her and Leonardo have become best friends.  They talk about everything.  They even have the same acting and creative writing class.  The downfall is that Leonardo keeps insisting that Usher is going to cheat on her again, and that they should break up.  But oh well, she was happy spending time with Usher and Leonardo.

Usher has been feeling himself lately.  He's back with his girl, and all the cheerleaders have a crush on him.  The captain, Jennifer, especially.  He's trying to be faithful to Olivia, but Jennifer doesn't care that he has a girlfriend, she told him, "One way or another, you'll be mine."  He doesn't understand why girls throw themselves on him, but he's hoping that eventually he won't catch them and keep dodging bullets.  All the boys on the team thinks he weak for not getting with Jennifer.  Apparently she never dates football players, and every guy she wants, she gets.  No lie, she is gorgeous.  She has long sexy slender legs, and long brown hair that ends at her waist.  She is half black and half Filipino.  She had full sexy lips, gorgeous big dark brown eyes with long eye lashes and curves that can men fall to their knees.  She was gorgeous and sexy, and she definitely knew it.  But Usher was going to control his man down stairs, and not blow things with Olivia.  He loves her, and no extremely sexy, exotic, gorgeous, flexible head cheerleader is going to blow that?  Or will she?

Leonardo is slowly but surely falling in love with Olivia.  Whenever their free they talk about everything, and they have so many things in common.  They share their hopes, dreams, and what they want in the future and their plan to accomplish their goals.  Olivia wants to be a writer, and so does he.  They like almost all the same movies.  They actually have a Monday Movie night, when they rent out a movie that just came out and that they both want to see.  The thing that makes Leonardo pissed is that Olivia is not the kind of girl to cheat.  She's loyal and faithful.  So he could never know if she has feelings for him, or if it's just friendship.  At times he thinks she's flirting, but then again it could all be in his head.  He's going to figure out away to see if she still have feelings for her.

After her morning Calculus class, Olivia went to do the dorm to relax.  It was Monday, and her next class wasn't until 2, which was her acting class.  As Olivia plopped on the couch, Leonardo came in too.  "Am I glad that my next class isn't until 2" and then plopped on the couch next to her.

"Me too.  I mean in High School I hated Pre-Cal, and now I just hate it more."

"Why are you taking Calculus anyway?  I thought you wanted to be a writer."

"I do, but I always want to be extremely smart.  Math is important for a thinking mind."

They both laughed.  "I'm glad I took all my math requirements last year."

"Well I wish I took some college classes in high school instead of spending time with my boyfriend and back stabbing 'best friend'. "

"Speaking of the devil, have you or Usher heard from her?  I mean she is pregnant right?"

"Yea."  Olivia drifted.  She really didn't want to think about it.  I mean, it was bad enough her boyfriend cheated on her, her best friend back stabbed her, and now she's pregnant with her boyfriend's child.  She always thought it was going to be her having his first child.

"Well, have you two heard from her or what?"

"No.  I've ignored her calls.  She stopped calling last month.  But I'll talk to Usher about it."

"Yep.  So far he's becoming the typical football player before he even makes it to the NFLs."  Then he started laughing.

"Hey that's not funny."  Olivia playfully tapped Leonardo.  Then for a moment there was a pause.  There was truths to what he said.

Leonardo could tell that it was bothering her so he decided to change the subject.  "So I know we usually rent a movie and order pizza on Mondays, but let's shake it up.  You could pick a movie you wanna see, and I'll choose something for dinner.  What do you say?"

"I say that I don't like sushi, mushrooms, or olives."  With that, they both laughed and then talked about their morning class.

Usher's morning class was with, no other than, Jennifer.  He had Psych 1.  When Jennifer saw him in class, she sat right next to him.  The low rise jeans hugged her curves, making her butt look extra big and firm.  All Usher wanted to do was grab it.  She put her purse down, and then looked at Usher, "Good Morning Handsome."

"Hey Jennifer."  Usher mumbled and trying to  avoid all eye contact.

"Don't be afraid of me, I won't bite.  Besides, call me Jen."

"Ok, Jen."

Then Jennifer noticed the watch he was wearing, and touched his wrist.  "Nice watch."

"Thanks, my girlfriend, gave it to me."

"Wow, that's sweet.  And how long have you two been together."

"It'll be three years on September 17th."

"Wow three years, sex must be boring huh?"

Usher turned his head.

"Wait, you to haven't been having sex?"

"Our relationship isn't about sex.  I'm in love with her.  We recently got back together, and I'm not trying to blow it."

"I see, why did you two break up?"

"That's none of your business."

Right before Jennifer was going to start making her guesses, the teacher finally strolled in.  Then class began.

After class, Jennifer asked Usher what was his next class.

"Oh me and my girlfriend have an acting class at 2."

"Oh ok, I guess I'll see the both of you there."

"Wait huh?"

With that, Jennifer left, switching her hips like she knew she got him.  Usher couldn't help but to stare and watch the movements of her hips going to side to side, and her hair moving the in the opposite direction.  Jennifer looked back and caught him staring at her.  She knew then and there that he was going to be easy to get.  Girlfriend of three years or not, Jennifer knew she had it all. She always get what she wants.
